Join us on Monday, February 17, at 4:30 PM for a captivating drumming performance by the Joy of Djembe Drumming Ensemble. This is a group of Houston musicians who share the joy of music, particularly the history of West African djembe drumming. They utilize a modern-day approach with a combination of ancient rhythms, traditional drumming, a world music to illustrate the spiritual gifts and healing that drumming provides on both individual and cultural levels. This is a program for all ages.
