Events › Museum of Fine Arts Houston: Art Camp

This summer, the Museum of Fine Arts and Harris County Public Library invite children ages 7–12 to discover art through a free, weeklong camp full of creativity and fun!

Each day, participants will:

• Explore examples of paintings and sculptures through lively, interactive discussions

• Create their own artwork inspired by Latin American artists’ techniques, materials, and use of color

The week wraps up on Friday, July 11, with a special bus field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts, where children and their families will enjoy a guided gallery experience led by MFAH educators. 

Important Info:

• All registrants must complete and submit a paper application, including the liability waiver, to confirm their seat
• Priority registration for in-person applicants; online registration will open two weeks later if space remains
• Paper applications will be available starting Monday, June 9
• Open to children ages 7-12 only
• This program is not open to daycare groups or organizations
