🌟 Calling All Teens! 🌟

Are you in 7th–12th grade and looking for a fun, meaningful way to earn volunteer hours and make a difference? Become a Big Buddy at HCPL West University Branch Library!

As a Big Buddy, you’ll be paired with a child in kindergarten through 3rd grade (a Little Buddy) for 10 weeks of shared reading and mentorship. It’s a great way to build leadership skills, connect with your community, and inspire a love of reading in a younger student.

📅Mandatory Training Date: Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 5 p.m.

@ 📍 West University Branch Library; 6108 Auden St.; Houston, TX

📚Reading Sessions begin: Tuesday, September 16 from 5 PM – 6 PM

(Commitment to the program September 16 – November 18, 2025)

This training is mandatory for all interested new Big Buddies.
