The Harris County Public Library and the #gulfcoastreads Committee are honored to host Jennifer Mathieu, author of the 2025 Gulf Coast Reads title, THE FACULTY LOUNGE, for an intimate, in-person discussion and book signing at the West University Branch Library (held next door at the Community Center).

The first 50 people to register (one book per registration) will receive a free copy of THE FACULTY LOUNGE and Blue Willow Bookshop will be on hand to sell additional copies as well as other books by the author. Audience Q & A and a book signing will follow the conversation.

About the Author | Jennifer Mathieu is the critically acclaimed author of seven novels for young adults including Moxie, which is now a major motion picture directed by Amy Poehler (Netflix). Her books have been translated into over twenty languages. A former journalist, Mathieu is a graduate of Northwestern and has been a high school teacher for nearly twenty years. She lives with her family in Houston.
