Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.

The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 17th to November 19th.  Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.

Applications are available at the front desk until September 3rd. The program is limited to 8 kids, and will be randomly drawn and participates will be notified by September 10th. Sign up today!
